L'Occitane en Provence - Little Luxuries
'Tis the season for gifting, so naturally when you are secretly buying stuff for yourself at the seductive L'Occitane en Provence, keep that in mind. In addition to the sachet size free samples they include with any purchase they also have other options for gifting including the popular Holiday Essentials Kit - an additional $20 when you spend $45 or more - and various free gifts with purchases this time of year which are suitable for Secret Santa, stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, etc.
I popped into L'Occitane the other day solely for the purpose of buying some more hand cream. This cooler weather has wreaked havoc on my hands and although I bought my favourite Lavender hand cream, I also picked up a little package of three Shea Butter Hand Creams in handy travel sizes, which actually have an even higher concentrate of Shea Butter than the fragrance ones. Since I added that purchase on, I was able to purchase the Holiday Essentials Kit. After my total purchase amount, I received a free makeup bag full of a few more goodies. Rather than go into detail here, check out the L'Occitane website. Pictures speak louder than words - check out my luxurious stash of products here:
Samples, hand cream and makeup bag freebies!
Holiday Essentials Kit contains travel sizes of some of L'Occitane's most popular products.
My reason for the add-on purchases? Read the first paragraph again. Better yet, try these products for yourself - and you'll want to give someone the gift of L'Occitane too, I guarantee it. I gave two of the little Shea butter hand creams away to a couple of hard workin' gals I know with the express instruction to each: "road test it and get back to me".
A few items I'll keep in my bathroom for myself and for guests to use, and the rest I plan on tucking into a gift box which I always send home to my family in New Brunswick this time of year.
My free L'Occitane gift came packed in a little makeup bag which is perfect for my recent lipstick and compact purchases, not to mention, perfect for traveling.
My free gift came in this adorable makeup bag and included Almond Cleansing and Exfoliating Delicious Soap for the body, Almond body oil, a mini Shea butter hand cream and a tiny jar of Perfecting Cream.
Consider signing up for the L'Occitane newsletter next time you are in-store shopping. It's a great way to stay connected to upcoming events, special deals/gifts with purchase, and new products. Plus, by being on their mailing list, you can get samples sent to you.
I can't say this enough, but sample sizes are perfect if you want to try before you buy.
Remember what the wise folks say: "Good things come in small packages!".
PS - When making a purchase, make sure you get your tissue paper sprayed with one of L'Occitane's light fragrances. Then, re-gift with the tissue as you wrap for that special someone.
...or you can be fancy and line your lingerie drawer with it....
